I am a Christian and by this I mean that I know that I'm a sinner and that I cannot enter Heaven by my own strength or good actions. The only way to enter Heaven is through a PERFECT blood sacrafice. No animal is perfect, no man is perfect, only God is perfect. This is why He sent His son, Christ Jesus to die for my sins. Christ is perfect—100% man and 100% God. Though not easily understood, this is the reason that when He died on the cross, my sins were taken upon Himself. He was the perfect blood sacrafice that opened the way for me to enter Heaven when I die.
This story dosn't end there, though. Three days after Christ died on the cross, he rose again, breaking the chains of death for all that believe on Him. Do you believe this? You may or may not. I believe it, and I know where I am going when I die. Do you? |
